Johns Manville: UniTex™ – New C-glass sliver
(Bad Homburg, April 8, 2003) --- Johns Manville presents its latest development, UniTex™ at the Techtextil fair in Frankfurt from April 8-10, 2003 (hall 5.1, booth C81). It’s a uniform C-glass sliver with high volume and excellent strength, which improves product properties significantly for processes like weaving, multi-axial, braiding etc.
UniTex™ is targeted for technical fiber systems, e.g. friction yarns, used in the production of automotive clutch facings meeting excellent abrasion behavior and even resin admission requirements.
