Johns Manville Chooses the Techtextil Exhibition 2007 in Frankfurt to Announce Further Expansion of its High-performance Nonwovens Specialty Product Portfolio
Bad Homburg/Frankfurt (June 12, 2007) --- Johns Manville (JM), a leading manufacturer of premium quality building and specialty products, confirmed today the launch of two new innovate glass nonwovens: Illuma™ White - the latest generation of frontside ceiling tile facers and DHY Forte, a brand new product for sound impact absorption in floor constructions.
Illuma™ White is a pre-coated glass nonwoven for the frontside of high-quality ceiling tiles. The latest generation of Illuma™ White convinces with an excellent grade of whiteness, good paintability and a stunning surface uniformity. It can be used as a finished facing product but also serves as a unique base product for further color coatings. Illuma™ White is available in 4 grades CW 140/4, CW 170/4, CW 200/4 and CW 230/4, and offers value added properties including reduced costs during processing.
DHY Forte is a robust glass nonwoven with a unique voluminous construct to support the toughest sound absorption requirements. DHY Forte enables excellent sound impact insulation in floor constructions. It is easy to process, comes in yellow color with an area weight of 330 g/sqm.
