Johns Manville to exhibit at Mosbuild 2002:
Johns Manville, known as a global market leader in nonwoven products,
fabrics, roofing and insulation products, will, for the seventh
time, be exhibiting its nonwovens for roofing and textile glass
fabric wall covering businesses at Mosbuild - Russia's leading building
fair from 9 to 13 April 2002.
The company's display presentation will include polyester spunbond,
glass fiber nonwovens and glass fiber fabrics as carrier for bituminous
roofing felts, as well as glass fiber nonwovens as carrier for resilient
floor coverings. For the acoustics sector, there will be glass fiber
nonwovens for backing insulating boards and special glass fiber
nonwovens as backings for gypsum panels.
Glass fiber wall coverings and fabrics will constitute another
important feature of the presentation.
Particular mention should here be made of CombiMat®, an innovative
product. This completely new insert serves as a carrier for bituminous
roofing felts and combines the advantages of synthetic polyester
spunbond and glass fiber nonwoven in a single product.
As in previous years, Johns Manville looks forward to demonstrating
its new products and new booth concept to visitors from all parts
of the Russian Federation, White Russia and the Ukraine, as also
from Western Europe. The greatest demand for building materials
in the Russian Federation is recorded in the Moscow Region, which
has more than 15 million inhabitants within its immediate commuter
zone.
Following the acquisition last March of Skloplast in Trnava, Slovakia,
Johns Manville acquired an additional production and logistics centre
in Eastern Europe. The company's global presence enables it to satisfy
the growing demand for roofing felt industry products and from users
of glass textil fabric wall coverings in an optimal manner.
Marketing, technical service and, not least, a particularly broad
assortment of high-quality nonwovens and fabrics makes Johns Manville
the first choice as a supplier of inorganic carriers for the production
of bituminous roofing felts.
